The Eagle River Golf Course is one of the most beautiful courses you will ever play – wooded, watered, carefully groomed, and totally in keeping with the unspoiled beauty of Wisconsin's Northwoods.

The course was originally built as 9 holes in 1923. Eagle River was incorporated as a city in 1937. Back then, people traveled mostly by train to get to the Northwoods. Now it's approximately a three-hour drive from Green Bay, and five hours from Milwaukee or Minneapolis.

In 1988, the course was redesigned by architect Don Herfort of Minneapolis, and now features 18 holes with strategically bunkered greens, narrow forested fairways, and prevalent water hazards. This course will excite and challenge golfers of all skill levels!

You will also enjoy a large practice facility that includes a grass tee range, practice green, chipping area and practice bunker.

Amenities Note: Dock, kayaks, outdoor furniture, and outdoor games are winterized during the off-season. These amenities are typically available from the first weekend of May through the end of October, weather permitting.
