Surrounded by towering pines and featuring gorgeous western exposure, Bass Cottage is the perfect place to experience everything the Northwoods has to offer. Spend your days swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, or relaxing along the sandy shoreline. In the evening, watch the sunset over the lake before gathering around the fire under a sky filled with stars.

With a level shoreline, sand beach, private dock, boat landing, and plenty of outdoor activities, Bass Cottage is a wonderful getaway for families and groups looking to make lasting Northwoods memories.

THE SPACE

Bass Cottage is a custom-built, year-round lakefront home featuring 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, and accommodations for up to 8 guests.

Inside, you'll find a warm and welcoming Northwoods design with locally milled pine, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of natural light.

The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area makes it easy for everyone to spend time together. Large windows provide beautiful lake views, while the natural gas stone fireplace creates a cozy place to relax after a day outdoors.

A Quick Note About Our Property Photos

Meta Lake is also a wonderful fishing lake, making Bass Cottage a great home base for anglers.

Keep your eyes open for some of the wildlife that makes Northern Wisconsin so special. Bald eagles, loons, deer, otters, foxes, geese, and other wildlife are frequently seen throughout the area.

The western-facing shoreline also provides beautiful evening sunsets over Meta Lake.

Bass Cottage isn't just a summer destination.

Summer brings swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and long days on the lake.

Fall offers incredible Northwoods colors and popular local events, including Eagle River's annual Cranberry Fest.

Bass Cottage provides the peaceful atmosphere of a lakefront getaway while still being just a short drive from downtown Eagle River.

Timberlane Resort consists of four cottages.

This makes the property a great option for extended families or larger groups who would like to vacation together while still enjoying their own separate accommodations.

SEASONAL AMENITIES

Please note that many outdoor and waterfront amenities are seasonal.

The dock, kayaks, paddleboards, outdoor furniture, water equipment, and outdoor games are winterized during the off-season.

These amenities are typically available from the first weekend in May through the end of October, weather permitting. Installation and removal dates may vary depending on lake and weather conditions.

IMPORTANT: QUIET HOURS

Our township strictly enforces quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

All guests are required to follow the local noise ordinance and be respectful of neighboring properties.

Failure to comply with the noise ordinance may result in a noise complaint and could lead to early termination of the reservation without refund.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the peaceful atmosphere that makes the Northwoods such a special place to visit.
